This orange dress is sexy and classy and deserved to be shot in a studio setting. I love the tie-up front detail and the sexiness of this fit. I have always said and I will say it gain. Orange looks fabulous on tanned on black skin, everything was popping.
It feels really good to be back on the blog and sharing a fashion post. I have been quite active with content I shot at home on my INSTAGRAM but I haven’t been out shooting looks for a while. They’re have been many reasons behind this. The main one has been I haven’t really wanted to. I don’t like the pressure of having to shoot and I like to go, on a whim; when I want to. I had already planned weeks in advance that when I shot again, I would be shooting a few blazer suits I picked up from Shein. So yesterday, when the weather allowed some periods of sunshine (between the sporadic droplets of rain) Syianne (my mum) and I went out to my usual location and shot some really nice images.
Guys, are you ready for a heavy influx in fashion posts? If you follow me on INSTAGRAM (If you don’t, why not?) you will have seen that I have been shooting a LOT of fashion and styling content. The plan was to coincide every fashion drop on Instagram with a new post on here but to be honest; this has been tougher than I realised! Life has been taking over and tbh it’s not been that fun.
I can’t lie guys, as much as I love collaborations, I am not really one to shoot the bulk of my content indoors. This is great in summer months but when it comes to winter, it gets that more challenging. So when I was contacted by wholesaleshopping.co.uk to style their faux leather cargo pants in three ways, I was initially going to decline because it meant I would have to venture outside. (I know right!) but when it comes to my content, it’s really important that I put out the best that I can so whilst out shopping I stopped and thanks to my personal photographer (Thanks mum) I was able to capture a few shots of this look.
Yes my loves, although I stated a number of months ago that Primark had lost my custom due to the fact that I had purchased coat there for £30 which began bobbling after one wear, one! I was pretty angry by it and even more so as I couldn’t locate the receipt to bring it back. One thing I hate doing is not getting my money’s worth and to be honest I am not sure I would ever buy a coat from them again. Nonetheless, I decided to pop in recently to pic up a faux suede skirt I had seen in the window and when I tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised by not only its fit by the overall texture of the material which is super soft. I also loved the pocket features on the front as many of the skirts I own do not have any and who doesn’t love pockets?
I am also very inspired by women in business and found the backstory behind the brand truly inspiring. The founder of Megan Ismay left her full-time job this year to follow her dreams of launching an ethical clothing brand.
