Do you have a favourite ring that needs to be resized? It’s a common problem a lot of us face, whether the ring is too big or small, it simply doesn’t fit you. Now, there’s a very obvious time where this can happen, and it’s when you’re getting engaged. Your partner could buy a ring without knowing your ring size, and it just doesn’t quite fit. So, you have to get it resized.
I spent the weekend reviewing my closet, organising my jewellery collection, shoes and clothing so I could start preparing for my Fall fashion looks. I can’t lie guys, it’s been really challenging of late to find the time to vlog (hence why nothing has gone live in absolutely ages) and to also put together looks. Working in a challenging day job, whilst trying to make my passion projects become my everyday projects is no mean feat. It was because of this though that in between sorting through these things, I also went through my images that haven’t been added to the blog yet.
It’s become quite apparent that I don’t see myself as a fashion blogger now because to be quite honest with you guys, I don’t have to the money to invest in buying clothing to promote other people’s brands for free! LOL. Guys, honestly, on top of that fact I also don’t have the time to shoot fashion content regularly so moving into the realms of being a lifestyle blogger and penning content around all the areas of a modern woman’s lifestyle suits me perfectly.
I have been holding onto these images for a while guys because as you can see, after a brief hiatus is shooting any looks, Syianne and I stepped out a took a few pics on what was one of the most windy days ever! we persisted and managed to grab a few shots for the gram (because let’s be honest, you only need 1 or 2) But, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share this beautiful dress on sashashantel.com too.
I know my lovelies are rather impressed with how regularly I turn up on sashashantel.com right now. It’s been a very long time coming but I am really enjoying hanging out here and I have endless new content coming.
I am also very inspired by women in business and found the backstory behind the brand truly inspiring. The founder of Megan Ismay left her full-time job this year to follow her dreams of launching an ethical clothing brand.
Hey guys, I mentioned in my last post that my style has transformed a great deal over the last year and where I wouldn’t normally reach for a blazer, it’s now the first thing I grab when going through my closet. Those of you who frequent my Instagram often know that I showcase my personal style on there and I have received a lot of love for this look so thought I would help you get the look.
As I am getting older, I am getting that more experimental with my look. I’ve found that my style of dress has changed quite dramatically and clothing that I loved even up to a year ago, I have come to find I no longer reach for. I’ve also become open to researching looks online; getting inspiration from websites like SheerLuxe and Pinterest to influence the looks I put together to wear day to day, as well as for evening events and blog shoots.
This look for me made the shoot! This dress was snapped up in the Nasty Gal sale and I planned the look in my head before I even completed the purchase. I had already imagined the green polka dots with white strappy’s and had already purchased the white heels from Nasty Gal in a previous sale. I’m getting more bold in my style and wearing materials and styles that a few years ago, I wouldn’t have dared match together. Let’s just say, I’m going through a change in every area of my life and my taste in fashion is one area that has had a massive overhaul.
